Faculty

Liz Moffitt is a Fellow of the Association of Music and Imagery (AMI), and a Trainer of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. She originated the Inner Journey with Music.Ca Training Program and has conducted all the levels of GIM trainings in Canada for 20 years. She taught in the Capilano University Music Therapy program for 35 years and is also a BC Registered Clinical Counsellor, an Accredited Music Therapist and Gestalt Therapist who works with adults in private practice. She offers GIM trainings through the Inner Journey Training Program based in Vancouver, B.C.


Noele Bird is a Fellow of the Association of Music and Imagery, (AMI), and a Trainer of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. She is also a BC Registered Clinical Counselor and an Accredited Music Therapist. Noele has been working in private practice for 30 years with children, adolescents and adults in Vancouver and recently in Victoria. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Guided Imagery & Music psychotherapy. Noele is also a GIM training therapist and supervisor.


Guylaine Vaillancourt is a Fellow of the Association of Music and Imagery, (AMI), and a Trainer of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. She is an Accredited Music Therapist and is a professor of Creative Arts Therapies at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, where she offers all levels of training in the Bonny Method of GIM. Guylaine is also a GIM training therapist and supervisor for individuals.


Nancy McMaster is a Fellow of AMI, and an Accredited Music Therapist. She was a co-founder of the Capilano University Music Therapy Program, and has taught there for over 40 years. Nancy assists with trainings offered by the Inner Journey with GIM Program and is a program individual therapist and supervisor.


Laurel Young is a Fellow of AMI, an Accredited Music Therapist, a psychotherapist (permit granted in Québec), and a Professor of Music Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She assists with trainings at Concordia University in Montreal, with the Inner Journey with GIM Program. Laurel is also a training individual therapist and supervisor.


Ruth Roberts is a Fellow of AMI, an Accredited music therapist and a Registered Psychotherapist (ON). She has 22 years of experience as a music therapist, assists in GIM training, and offers personal GIM sessions in private practice.
